Hi Didi,

Two years ago I had to move from the busy Brisbane city to outback Queensland, to help out my parents with their farm.

I love it here and don’t want to live in a big city again but unfortunately the remoteness of the country makes it difficult to find a date!

Are there any online dating sites for people living in rural areas?

Hi Meg,

There are a lot of Australian Online Dating Sites that have members in rural and remote areas. Most sites are free to join and allow you to run a basic search for other members living in your area.

Alternatively you could search the ‘Communities’ section of most dating sites. RSVP actually has a community called ‘Farmer Wants a Date’ or write on the Forums page and start your own community!
